Today was the first day of school.
I walked my six year-old on to campus, hand in hand.
I felt a lump in my throat, but at the same time I was excited for her.
Excited that she was feeling some independence.
It's hard to see them grow, but so rewarding to see them grow allright;
little signs that they are going to be just fine dealing with this world.
I am now left with one little one at home.
This is the last year I will have her home with me.
But good things are a brewin'. I can feel it.
