Lately, I've wanted to work more in just silver. There's just something about working with metal, manipulating it, fabricating it, controlling it (yikes, I'm having a feminist moment). I have to admit, it's kind of empowering having a hot torch in your hands. Not to mention working with different acids, tools, chemicals, vices...it's a world away from being inside the house mopping floors. I love my time out in the garage, just thinking to myself and listening to the tunes I like without anyone complaining, "I hate that song" or "change the station"! I love the garage...

(For those of you who have inquired about the "Love" necklace, it is all silver. Those are brushed silver beads that look like pearls. Unfortunately this necklace is already sold, that's why I didn't list a price, just wanted to show what I've been up to lately. I will be making more that are similar, but not exactly the same. $212)

Ooh! How much are you selling that beautiful pearl necklace for? BTW, I love my bracelet. I wrapped it right back up, though, because I want to save it for Christmas. I'm saving up for my next piece! And my 5 year-old hates my Christmas music. Bummer!

Is that "love" necklace silver or gray pearls?

So very interesting -- I like it!

I love the "love" necklace. How much? I think all silver is so beautiful, but then again, all your jewlery is beautiful too.

do you teach classes in working with metal? Or know of anyone who does. I have been wanting to for quite a long time but not sure where to get started.
Thanks,
Leslie : )

Put me on the list for an all-silver one. I know that you think that I have too many of your pieces, but how can I resist?
