I inherited this chair that I loved, but it was REALLY blue...and not quite the right shade. I made the slipcover to soften the shade of blue and then very sweetly asked Libbie if she would paint a "Marie Antoinette" on the back. Gesso is the best! It can turn any surface into a paintable one. After gessoing the chair back, she painted this beauty for me. It is our favorite chair in the house and sits at the head of the dining room table.

Just Magnifique!!!! Lucky girl to have such a gorgeous chair. I bet you feel positively royal when seated in this beautiful creation.
